Where’s your child?
Powerful visual for the Watch Around Water drowning awareness campaign.
It features an optical illusion of a child floating face down in a pool, created using a printed mat placed underwater.
The text reads, “WHERE’S YOUR CHILD? WATCH AROUND WATER”, serving as a reminder of the dangers of unsupervised swimming.
This campaign, developed by Life Saving Victoria in partnership with Aquatics & Recreation Victoria, addresses concerns about child supervision at public aquatic facilities.
By educating parents and guardians on what constitutes adequate supervision, Watch Around Water encourages active responsibility to prevent drowning incidents.
Originally implemented in Western Australia, it has since expanded to South Australia and Victoria, with support from the PISBTW campaign.
The initiative urges aquatic facilities to participate in creating safer environments for children.
