Traffic Responsibility Action is a non-governmental organization constituted to raise the awareness of safety and responsibility in traffic.
Irresponsible acts are the main cause of traffic accidents. These incidents cause thousands of people to become disabled every year.
Aim: To point out the extreme closeness between the possibilities of being disabled and sitting on a tube seat.
Since, approximately 230,000 people use the tube daily in Istanbul and approximately 200,000 people get injured in traffic accidents annually in Turkey.
The idea: To design the tube seats as wheelchairs.
Result: 32 wheelchair displays placed in the wagons reached 230,000 subway passengers.
